Biography Elaine's songs meld poetic lyrics and soaring singing with wry humor, and a hint of Celtic lilt. Her album Real Deal is being spun on folk, college, and public radio stations, including Wisconsin Public Radio, WMUD 89.3 in Vermont, and WFUV in New York City. Her prior EP Better By Far sold out twice on CD Baby, and the popular track FLY was included on two compilations; 'CD Baby Top Sellers August '06' and 'The Open Mike Cafe Presents' ('07). album. Elaine has been featured in print press and blogs, and regularly as a top pick by Lucid Culture.
Elaine joins the ranks of indie musicians taking a turn on reality TV, on What Not to Wear , a fan favorite which airs frequently. She also had a brush with Broadway, understudying Tony Kushner and Maurice Sendak’s collaboration, BRUNDIBAR, at the New Victory Theater (NYC) and at Berkeley Repertory Theater (Berkeley, CA). In addition to singing and writing songs, Elaine has also produced, directed, acted, arranged, composed, and taught. Elaine was raised in suburban Philadelphia, PA, and Manhattan, KS.
